Benin Troops Out To Give Fame A Shot!

Yes! It's project Fame West Africa Season 5. In season 1 we had Iyanya who has risen to become Kukere crooner, season 2, there was Mike, season 3 was the cream Chidinma who from the word go has been on top of her game, releasing hit tracks from Jankoliko even to 'Run Dia Mouth'. Just last season, Monica joined PF's hall of fame as she clinched the grand prize.

Last season, Yvonne was discovered from Benin. Will another Yvonne emerge this year? Fingers crossed...It was maximum fun and excitment as the young, middle-aged, and old came in search of fame. The funny, the serious minded also came.

This season, the search has begun round major cities in West Africa. Out first stop was at Constantial Hotel, 24/26 Airport Road, GRA, Benin City.

i love what MTN is doing in the life of the youth. and also to carry the people long to the future please keep it up. Can somebody tell me what the judges are doing this season if contestants are being eliminated based on number of votes and not their perfomance? Are they just there to criticize, correct and 'SAVE' the contestants while at the back of their mind they know that the judges comments does not count but their friends' votes does....pls organizers explain how this came to be

Kudos to MTN Project Fame. There's no Nigerian reality talent hunt show like you. The way contestants develop skill, character and confidence week by week is amazing. It has gone beyond being a place to publicize talents, its a school that grooms them. This is why it wont loose its value year in year out. I only hope sponsorship issues and all don't affect this show. I look forward to every year and this one hasnt dissapointed me either. Good job judges, better job faculty.....lol.

The contestants are doing well, especially Ayo.keep up the good work, but i have a problem with the backup singers, they sing like they are forcing them to sing. they dont sing with any soul. is it that they are tired or they are not well paid.
