With top notch energy, Monica – the winner of Project Fame season 4 opened the show with her singles – Tomorrow and Below. She dazzled the audience, rocked the stage and clearly re-affirmed herself as she sang and danced to these recently released singles. The crème-de-le-creme audience and of course the able sponsors of the show – MTN Nigeria who have solely supported the grooming of these talents from the very inception of the show in 2008. Present at the newly built Ultima Studios, Lekki were Larry Annette (C.M.O MTN Nigeria), General Manager, Consumer Marketing MTN Nigeria – Kola Oyeyemi, and other senior Exec's of MTN Nigeria.

Each contestant came out one after the other determined to sing their way into the Academy, the audience was swept off in awe of the contestants as they all
displayed their very best in all of their performances. Like a star, ready to fly they came out displaying their very best.Â

Having raised the bar so high and with very high class performances the judges were left with a not-so-easy task of analysing their performances and also determining who stays and who leaves. The suspense was lifted temporarily us as Iyanya, the reigning Kukere crooner and Season 1 PF winner treated everyone to his African hit – Kukere and got everyone on their feet doing the etighi dance.
Then came the moment that all contestants dread so much came and after all said and done, Daniel from Sierra Leone, Roland from Ilorin and Anthony from Lagos bowed out of Project Fame season 5 stage leaving the race to the other fifteen contestants who in the next ten weeks will face the faculty in the academy, battling their way to fame and fortune.
Who will be the next name in Project Fame Hall of fame? Who again will emerge as the winner? Guess it is too early to predict. The race has just kicked off and everyday in the academy, the contestants’ fate in the competition will gradually be determined. So don’t miss any of the drama and life in the academy.
As the night all too quickly wound to a close, Chuddy K – the ‘Gaga Crazy’ star treated everyone to his hit song and he successfully got every one dancing to a well crafted performance.
