The very first elimination show for the season started in a grand style with group performances from the contestants.

While the Female contestants did a beautiful ensemble of 'Don't Let Go' by En Vogue and the boys taking up the

challenge with Backstreet boys’  'Don't Leave Me'.

As Joseph Benjamin unavoidably absent on the show, Adora seamlessly hosted the show and introduced the fifteen (15) contestants

whose fate in the Academy would be determined on the show.

With rising perspirations, Adora invited Yeside Oredugba of Alexander Forbes who came prepared to present the list of the five (5) contestants

with the least number of votes and who would have to perform their way out of the claws of probation.

Tega Apochi made it to the Academy with fourteen (14) other contestants, but got eliminated with Edward (the only contestant from Sierra Leone) at the second week of the competition.

She is a 22 year-old Delta State babe who has a non-identical twin brother Tejiri. Tega loves singing but if she wasn’t following the path of music, she would like to try her hands at fish-farming. She has her own style fashion-wise and readily admits to liking attention.

She has a distinct voice which she hopes can be trained to be outstanding. She showed her gratitude to the faculty for the brief training she got in the Academy.
