After series of talent search auditions across West Africa, weeks of grooming contestants who in turn created a world of unadulterated entertainment with their weekly performances, Project Fame West Africa Season 9 has come to an end.
Approaching the end of something good can be emotionally demanding. This fact dawned on the contestants as they had to officially say goodbye to all the Faculty members today. However, they also had a gleeful moment when they got a surprise visit from a septuagenarian who told them how much she loved them.
As the competition draws to an end, the Super Six paid a courtesy visit to the official sponsors of the show, MTN Nigeria at the head office. Staff and Executive members were all happy to meet and take photographs with the Super Six.
The Super Six went back to the place where music started for most of them- the church. It was quite a refreshing time in the presence of God as the contestants ministered to the congregation with a medley of choice gospel tunes.
The contestants unleashed their creativity as they performed their signature versions of evergreen songs. They also merged their talents into a magnificent piece of music when they sang together in twos. To crown it all, Mike Anyasodo (aka iMike, Season 2 winner) graced the stage!
As the competition comes to its climax, performance nights are also getting more interesting, leaving viewers clamoring for an encore. This evening which featured contestants’ dancehall and group song performances was no exception.
Still on the quest to make sure the contestants’ personal compositions take the music industry by storm, the Super Six spent an evening learning at the feet of Harrysong on the rudiments of making a hit song.
