Who says dream do not come true? It was another joyful day for Monica the winner of MTN Project Fame West Africa 4,its 1st and 2nd runners up as their dreams of owning a brand new car came to reality. These Project Fame 4 stars with their friends & families made their way to MTN office, Golden Plaza, falomo, Lagos to take delivery of their winnings.

Monica, who until now had not come to terms with the reality of the fact that she won a Rav. 4 jeep went on her knees in appreciation to God for her winnings after been presented the car. Ese on her part did not waste time at all as she jumped into her fully loaded Toyota yaris car and drove it away happily after taking ownership of the car keys. Roy who got ‘last man standing’ as his appellation in the competition could not hide his joy immediately the keys of a brand new Toyota corolla landed on his hands.

This again added another feather to the cap of the communication giant (MTN) who over the years have been in the business of enriching lives. Presenting the cars were Mr. Bola Akingbade (CMO MTN), Kola Oyeyemi (GM Consumer Marketing), Cherry Eromosele (Senior Manager - Segment Marketing)

Which of the sensational six will win? Hold on to the edge of your seats as the evening starts with high tension. The crème de la crème of the society were well represented. Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Veteran Actor Olu Jacobs, St. Obi and many other prominent personalities were present to celebrate with the winner.
The other 11 contestants that started with the sensational six were present in grand style on the Project Fame stage once again to give their support to the finalists. Ready to repeat one of their best performances on the Project Fame platform and their very own compositions.
Wizkid kicked off the show with some of his hits. Ruth took off and did ‘Saving All My Love For You’ by Whitney Houston, Roy performed ‘Dirty Diana’ by Michael Jackson. Ethel sang Toni Braxton’s ‘How Could An Angel Break My Heart’, Ese performed ‘If This Isn’t Love’ by Jennifer Hudson, Yvonne again did Rihanna’s version of Bob Marley’s ‘Redemption song’ and Monica blew everyone away again with Tuface’s ‘Only Me’.
Chidinma PF season 3 winner performed her new single ‘Kedike’ with a fresh video too.
Personal compositions followed initiated by well shot videos and beautiful transitions to the stage performance. Wow! They have actually metamorphosed into outstanding performers over the past ten weeks.
To cap the show with a thoroughly entertaining performance of hits was the International artistes – Dru Hill, the group who rocked the world in recent years got everyone waving and on their feet dancing and cheering.

Grammy award winning singer, songwriter and actress, Brandy Norwood , popular American R&B singer, Joe and Nigerian multi-talented pop-star, D’banj were the centre of attraction at the MTN Project Fame West Africa season 4 opening gala held last Sunday, 2nd of October at Eko Hotel, Lagos.
The presence of the trio lit up the atmosphere at the event which marks the commencement of the fourth season of Africa’s most popular reality TV show, with exhilarating performances to the delight of a cheering crowd of over 5000 music lovers.
Brandy mounted the stage amidst an electrifying atmosphere of bright lights and colourful ambience, as she hit one memorable song after another to the delight of a screaming audience, who crowded the stage to catch a clearer glimpse of her.
The music diva rendered super-hit tracks from her several award winning albums including hits like Aphrodisiac, What About Us, Full Moon, Wanna Be Down and many others.

As Brandy was leaving the stage, R & B Maestro Joe got the crowd going with his all time romantics which got the crowd singing as though the hits were made only yesterday. Joe was a last minute draft to replace rapper, Game who was earlier scheduled to perform.
The announcement of Joe’s performance attracted wild excitement among the large crowd as they jumped up on their feet, screaming and waiting to rock the show with the vocally ingenious singer.

‘Koko-Master’, D’banj crowned the show with an earth-shaking performance that sent the crowd into bliss land, rocking at the sound of great hits like Mr Endowed, Suddenly, and many other songs.
The MTN Project Fame International concert continued with more performances from past winners of the show; Inyanya, Mike, Chidinma, Praiz and Kesse respectively. There was also a thrilling dance performance by the ‘Explicit’ group.

Meanwhile the season 4 of the Project Fame opening show segment preceded the concert, as 17 contestants were admitted into the academy out of the thousands of participants that auditioned for the across West Africa.
The 17 will go through ten weeks of intensive musical training in the complete art of music which include stage performance, vocal delivery, dance exercise, showmanship, and other key aspect of the trade that will groom them to be all-round music super stars.

The contestants will also compete on a weekly basis to determine who eventually step into stardom as the winner of the Toyota RAV 4, N2.5 million cash prize and a one year recording contract worth over N7 million, as well as other mouth-watering benefits.

The two American artistes stormed the city, to be part of the ground-breaking gala show and international concert which also featured multiple-award winning Nigerian artiste, D’banj, past Project Fame Winners, Iyanya, Mike, Chidinma, Praiz and other A-list Nigerian artistes, to mark the commencement of the West African leading reality TV show.
The presence of Brandy and Joe at the opening show brought a breath-taking experience to music lovers as West Africa looks forward to a new season of exhilarating musical experience in MTN Project Fame Academy.
The 32 year old Mississippi born talent said in a voice drop that she looked forward to being in Nigeria. “I will be performing at the MTN Project Fame Opening Gala. It’s going to be fire, as it is my first time in Nigeria. I will see everybody there”, she promised.
The leading telecom company in Africa is leaving no stone unturned in making this season’s show a worthwhile experience for Nigerian music lovers, as the event will see the lucky 19 contestants from across West Africa compete for the 15 slots available in the Academy for 10weeks.
