Isaac opened the floor with One Republic’s ‘Apologise’, followed by Chidinma who sang ‘Wind Beneath my wings’ by Betty Midler. Emmanuel brought the roof down with The Eagles’ ‘Hotel California’. Aziga’s performance of Maroon 5’s ‘This Love’ was a great improvement from the last one. Velma did Shania Twain’s ‘From this Moment’ and Ruth crowned the evening with Leanne Rhymes’ ‘How do I live’.
Then with hearts beating hard the six contestants on probation were called forward. You could almost hear a pin drop and see the anxiety on their faces.
Then the judges sprung a surprise. Full pardon for everyone!!! Unbelievable. But a big relief for all the happy contestants.
The show was closed with a smooth delivery of Sister Sledge’s ‘We are family’ done by all the girls of course.
