Sonia made it into the Academy, but left with Chinyere at the fourth week of the competition. Here is their duet which was their last stage performance on Project Fame Season 5:

Sonia Obi is a 22 year old student of Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution at the National Open University. She is social and likes to talk. She however tends to be pretty sensitive and emotional especially concerning her late mother whose ring she still wears as a keepsake.

She loves to sing and gives it her best. While she admits her emotions are close to the surface she wants to did well in the Academy and proudly left a better person.

The contestants woke up to start their with punishment. What could have happened? They were all still in bed when Kaffy got into class for the early morning fitness class. It was only Marvellous who got to class on time. They all hurried to class only to see Kaffy and the fitness team already in class. Guess the punishment was deserved.

Edward announced that Sonia would be the last to bathe after everyone else. All the other contestants agreed but luckily for her Mummy J came to the rescue. She dug to the root of the matter and warned Sonia and others not to waste so much time in the bathroom and toilet knowing well  that there are others sharing this facility. And that was how Mumm J in her motherly demeanor eased the uneasy calm that had prevailed in the Academy.
