The contestants were up for another scintillating performance. This time around, it was simply dramatic with a lot of amazing dance steps. Thanks to Miss kaffy, the able Academy Choreographer.
It was another night of uneasiness at the thought of which two contestants will thread the lonely path of elimination from the Academy. But events took a surprising turn and a happy one as the Judges announced that was an evening of grace for all the contestants as no one will be eliminated from the Academy. All were overjoyed at this pleasant news. Mummy J was quick to respond in appreciation to the Judges and also did not forget to remind the contestants to work harder for the week ahead.
The Judges and Faculty then chose six contestants to perform for the night. Eyo was the first to take to the stage as he performed ‘Three Times A Lady’ by Kenny Rogers. He did the song with so much ease that the Judges could not but commend him for a job well done. Next up was Kesse, he gave another outstanding performance with his usual swagger.
Tolu did justice to Rod Stewart’s ‘First Cut is the Deepest’. His performance was targed ‘Tolulicious’ by the Faculty. Big boy Ochuko’s rendition of Phil Collins’ ‘One More Night’ was a world of difference from his last performance. Next was Christian, who with a gripping emotional outburst performed Simply Reds’ ‘If You Don’t Know Me By Now’.
Small but mighty Chidinma brought the night’s performances to an end in a grand style as she wowed everyone with Mariah Carey’s ‘I Want To Know What Love Is’. Kesse and Eyo could not but plant kisses on her cheeks for this breath-taking performance.

I think the audition judges from benin are ignorant about music. Why on earth should the first lady that was auditioned and sang beautifully was given a NO because of pronunciation? I thought things like that were worked on in the house not b4.
